Terms & Conditions

  1. Buyer as used herein means the person ordering goods or services from E C Products Limited (ECP).
  2. Any of the terms and provisions of the Buyer’s order which are inconsistent with ECP conditions or which are not expressly contained within our documentation as relating to a particular supply or service shall not be binding upon ECP and shall not be considered applicable to that sale.
  3. All offers are for supply only and we shall not be governed by any sub-contract conditions that apply to the Buyer.
  4. No waiver, alteration or modification of any of the provisions on our quotation, shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by a Director of ECP.
  5. Prices quoted are for the quantity mentioned and any increase or reduction may affect price.
  6. If after the date of quotation or contract and before completion of work or delivery of goods there shall be an increase in the cost of work or our normal selling price of the goods, then a corresponding increase shall be chargeable and payable by the Buyer.
  7. All prices quoted are exclusive of V.A.T.
  8. Credit terms are Nett Monthly Account: – defined as payable on or before the last day of the month following that of the date of the invoice.
  9. Should no credit agreements or terms exist, between ECP and the buyer, payment shall be on a Pro-Forma basis.
  10. ECP reserve the right to suspend supply or service of equipment and any other trading benefits for non-compliance of our terms.
  11. The property in all goods supplied by ECP shall remain vested in ECP until the full price of the goods has been paid to ECP. The Buyer shall be responsible for cover against all risks of loss, damage or destruction of such goods until payment is made to ECP.
  12. Delivery dates are approximate and ECP shall not be liable for any loss,penalties or damage, direct or indirect, occasioned by delayed delivery and in no case shall delayed delivery be a ground for rejecting goods.
  13. No goods may be returned for credit without prior agreement from ECP in writing. Items returned in good condition will be accepted for re-stocking upon payment of a 15% levy.
  14. Cancellation of orders that have to be made up specially or specifically to the Buyer’s requirements cannot be accepted.
  15. All warranties in respect of goods not of our manufacture, the Manufacturer or Distributor warranties will apply.
  16. ECP cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in drawings after they have been approved by the Buyer.
  17. The Buyer shall hold ECP harmless against any loss, damage, or expense resulting from infringement of patents or trade marks arising from compliance by ECP with the Buyer’s design, specification or instruction.
  18. All contracts for sale of goods and service will be interpreted in accordance with English Law and any dispute shall be submitted to arbitration under the Laws of England.
